I loved reading this series! It was everything I wanted from a fanstay novel. Ahh it look me a while to finish because I didn't want it to be over. But I had done a little research and I think there might be more to come. I hope there is because there is so much that I still want to know about.

First line: Gods, it was boiling in this useless excuse of a kingdom. 

So let us begin:

As the Adarlan kingdom keeps diving farther into darkness, Celaena has to decide were she stands in the fight. Everyone does. Relationships are tests and truths unfold. But Celaena is stuck in her past. It is causing her to lose hope in ever seeing her kingdom freed. She can either let her past make her stronger, or let it consume her.

Setting

We get to see Wendlyn, the land of Fae. It is filled with such new things. We learn more about the Fae, and other magical creatures, but magical doesn't always mean good. This world has its own monsters and shortcomings. Love this new world!

All in All

This is an awesome book! It continues the plot and exposes the deep scars of Celaena's character. This series consumes you. It keeps getting better, instead of losing steam with plot and characters like many series do. There is always something fresh and new, and exciting behind every corner and character. A must read!
