I got this book as an ARC at BookCon. This book doesn't come out until October 20, 2015, so make sure you write it down!!This book is special becasue it is written in a very unique way. You are reading files from an investigation about an attack on a plant lead to the death of thousands of people. The book documents the travels of three space crafts as they try to get the remaining people to safety. This space odyssey focuses on the POVs of Kady and Kady's ex-boyfriend, Ezra. This journey will change them and show them what really matters, becasue in life they are things worth dying for...
Characters
Kady. Love her. She has an adventurous heart, and pink hair! She is a computer hacker, and is really good at it. Her heart is broken after her break up with Ezra, but that one act saved both their lives that morning. Kady is fearless, hopeful and just, as she sees the terrors of their journey unfold. She may not be able to shoot a gun, but don't count her out. She is just as strong or even stronger they any heroine.
Ezra. (does anyone else think of Pretty Little Liars?). He is a jock, and is so lucky he knows a girl like Kady. They are able to lead on each other after things seem to get worse and worse for the pair. Ezra is dangerously in love with Kady, but can never express his love enough to get Kady's forgiveness. Ezra is a sarcastic, and cold hearted most times, cursing up a storm, but with Kady...he crumbles. But will Ezra survive to see Kady again? To make things right between them?
All in All
I loved this book. It was so different becasue of the way it was written, creating a unique reading experience that will keep you wanting more. This book is 599 pages but it goes so fast you won't even realize how long it is. If you are a sci-fi lover, or looking for something different, I highly recommend this book!
